Caption   A pyrocumulonimbus cloud, tinted orange by thick smoke, is seen on the afternoon of May 11, 2018, east of Wheeler, Texas. The storm was created by hot air rising from the Mallard wildfire. The storm became quite strong, prompting a severe thunderstorm warning and dropping large hail near Wheeler.
